Joy for Humanity partners with Rotary Kampala Munyonyo to create a greener future!
We are thrilled to partner with Rotary Kampala Munyonyo to make a positive impact on the environment! We are excited to work alongside such a dedicated and passionate group of Rotarians towards creating a greener and more sustainable future.
During their journey to the 98th District Conference (27th -29th April 2023) in Mbarara, the Rotarians donated and planted over 450 trees, such as Mangoes, avocados, and oranges, to be looked after by the children with the guidance of staff.
The project under the Mission Green initiative is vital to our community, and we greatly appreciate the Rotarians for taking some time off to join us in planting these trees. The Rotarians shared their knowledge with the children and staff about caring for and keeping the environment green.
As the Chinese proverb says, “The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago. The second-best time is now.”
This highlights the importance of taking action and making a positive impact on the environment, even if we missed an opportunity in the past. Every effort we make now counts towards creating a greener and more sustainable future for generations to come. Let us all do our part and take action today!
Thank you, Rotary Kampala Munyonyo, for taking the time to create a better future for all of us.
We look forward to working together on further projects to impact people’s lives.
