The Route

The race takes place in the vibrant East London on the flat, fast city route starting and finishing at Hackney Marshes.

You will cruise down Mare Street through a carnival of sound, pass by the famous Town Hall, head through the historic Broadway Market, and then take in Hackney Wick, which is flush with vibrant street art.

After your registration, please proceed to JustGiving to create the fundraising page for Joy For Humanity  

Below are the procedures to complete a JustGiving page under the main Joy For Humanity Just Giving page.

1. Type https://www.justgiving.com/joyforhumanity in the address bar
2. Click on Fundraise for us
3. Log in and click Continue
4. Select the option Taking part in an event and click Start.
5. Under Find your Event, Type Hackney Half Marathon and search
6. Select Hackney Half Marathon 2021
7. Give a name to your page
8. Then Yes for GiftAid
9. Then Yes please opt me in
10. Then Create your page
11. Once the page is created, you will have more options like Edit, Media, Donations and Settings
    This will enable you to add more information including adding a cover page!
