Joy For Humanity Wine Tasting Evening, You Won’t Want to Miss!
We’re delighted to invite you to a very special French Wine Tasting Evening on Friday 18th July at 72 Lauriston Rd, E9 7HA.
This is an opportunity for our Ambassadors, child sponsors, regular givers, and Joy For Humanity supporters to reconnect, relax, and enjoy a beautifully curated evening together.
This is not a fundraising event, just a lovely evening to say thank you and bring our community closer.
The evening will begin from 6:45pm with soft drinks on arrival (so we don’t spoil the wine tasting to come!). The main wine tasting will run from 7:30pm to 8:30pm, led by the incredible Lamine Gueye, a former professional sommelier and now a trained wine tourism and food guide in France, with a deep love for the culture, craft and community that wine brings.
He’s also one of Joy For Humanity’s regular and cherished supporters.
Lamine will take us through:
- A fascinating history of wine
- The art of wine and food pairing
- Tasting notes across red, white, rosé and sparkling wines
- A guided tasting of carefully selected French cheeses
We’ll wrap up the evening with a short update from our team, who will have just returned from Uganda, sharing highlights and impact from the ground.
Cost: £15 per adult – this simply covers the food and wine.
