Little Dresses for Africa (LDFA) a non-profit, Christian based organization provides aid
to the children of Africa in form of simple dresses made out of pillow cases and other fabric which are distributed through orphanages, churches and schools in Africa to plant in the hearts of little girls that they are worthy!
Knowing the history of the girls in Africa and the difficult road that lay ahead, Rachel Alexander O’Neill decided to initiate this project that is changing lives one little dress at a time..
Joy For Humanity is privileged to be partners with LDFA who recently sent a consignment of 500 dresses packed in 20 boxes to the children of the community. The precious children who received these clothes felt very comforted and excited about the gifts as they got hope in their hearts and realized more that they are worthy, loved and that they have other people who care about them.
JFH is very grateful to Rachel O’Neill, the Founder of LDFA for listening to God’s calling to dress the children of Africa especially the girl child. Your contribution to our school and community children in particular is a great stand towards our programs and this kind gesture will always remain in the minds of these children.
People like Rachel are of great inspiration to us and set an example for the new generation to follow.
